The Alumni Committee at IIM Lucknow was delighted to host Mr. Nishant Saxena (IIML '00), Global CEO of Transasia Bio-Medicals and author of Timeless Skills, for an insightful speaker session.
Nishant shared reflections from his diverse leadership journey across P&G, Cipla, entrepreneurship, and Transasia, offering candid lessons on careers, growth, and leadership. A dedicated segment of the session was focused on his book Timeless Skills – Playbook to Climb the Corporate Ladder, where he highlighted the seven timeless skills — from self-management and clarity to collaboration, balance, and rejuvenation.
The session left the IIML community with thought-provoking takeaways on how careers evolve, why they sometimes stall, and what it takes to build sustainable success.

On 27th September, IIM Lucknow hosted Samvaad 2025 at its Noida Campus—a landmark gathering that celebrated leadership and collaboration while bringing together alumni from diverse backgrounds.
This year's flagship alumni conclave was themed "The Next Normal: Business Leadership in an Age of Perpetual Disruption", a message that resonated throughout the day's discussions and interactions.
The day began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by the distinguished dignitaries, followed by a welcome note from Prof. Rajesh Aithal, Chairperson of Alumni Affairs, who emphasised the strength and mentoring role of the IIM Lucknow alumni network, and the presidential address by Prof. Kaushik Bhattacharya, touching on the importance of adaptability and insight in these transformative times.
Mr Awadhesh Kumar Jha, Executive Director at Glida India, gave the keynote address and illuminated how the disruptions catalysed the electric vehicle revolution, demonstrating how transformative moments reshape entire industries.

Samvaad celebrated the unity and living legacy that IIM Lucknow's alumni bring, exemplifying their role in shaping businesses in uncertain times. The event ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Alumni Committee.

IIM Lucknow welcomed its alumni back to campus on the 9th and 10th of August for Samvaad 2025, the institute's flagship alumni conclave. The two-day gathering brought together graduates from across batches and industries for a series of thought-provoking discussions, interactive sessions, and informal networking opportunities.
This year's theme, "The India Moment: Ideas, Impact, and Influence", framed conversations around the country's growing global role and the transformations shaping its economy, businesses, and society. The agenda featured panel discussions, fireside chats, and student-alumni roundtables designed to connect classroom learning with real-world experience.
Opening the conclave, Alumni Affairs Chair
Prof. Rajesh Aithal spoke about the strength of the IIML alumni network and its role in mentoring students. Director Prof. MP Gupta highlighted recent market developments and the value of alumni insights in shaping future leaders.
Each panel was followed by fireside chats and small-group rotations, where alumni shared perspectives on their careers and students could have candid conversations.
Samvaad 2025 reinforced the enduring connection between IIM Lucknow and its alumni community -a network that continues to contribute knowledge, mentorship, and inspiration to the leaders of tomorrow.

Yoga Sangam is the flagship Signature Event of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025. Other nine IDY Signature Events are designed to add to the buildup of Yoga Sangam.
'Yoga Sangam' is a special effort to mark the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the IDY observation, aiming to expand yoga's grassroots reach, and to ensure that everyone can access its benefits. Taking place on 21st June 2025, it will be a groundbreaking initiative unfolding a synchronised, yet distributed mass yoga demonstration at 1,00,000 locations across India.

As the sun rose over the iconic IIM Lucknow gates on February 1, 2025, one car after another rolled in, carrying alumni eager to relive their best days. The wait was finally over—NOSTALGIA 2025 brought the IIM Lucknow Noida Campus back to life as alumni from IPMX, PGP-SM, and PGP-WE returned to the place that shaped their journeys. But this wasn’t just a reunion. It was a chance to step back in time, reconnect with old friends, rekindle relationships, and relive the moments that made their MBA days unforgettable.
The day kicked off with a walk down memory lane, featuring nostalgic photographs that transported everyone back in time. The energy was palpable—warm hugs, excited high-fives, and wide smiles filled the air. Over steaming cups of chai and coffee, the campus echoed with familiar banter and hearty laughter.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Yash Daultani, Chairperson, Alumni Affairs, and Alumni Batch Representatives. After a warm welcome and an emotional trip down memory lane, alumni were in for a day filled with exhilarating activities, reminiscent of their time on campus.
The energy soared with the ‘Hell’O Hour’ challenge, a thrilling throwback to classroom debates. Alumni formed teams to tackle a quirky business case, crafting witty pitches that brought back the excitement of case competitions. From bold startup ideas to hilarious workplace policies, the session had everyone in splits. Even spouses joined the fun, proving that the nostalgic spirit is contagious!
Just when the nostalgia peaked, an iconic classroom experience awaited—a special session with Professor R. K. Srivastava. As he took center stage, alumni were instantly transported back to their student days. His engaging case discussion, peppered with wit and wisdom, reignited the analytical mindset that once defined their MBA journey. The echoes of "This could be Heaven, or this could be ‘L" filled the room, reigniting the pride and belongingness.
As the evening unfolded, the festivities reached their grand finale—a mesmerizing live band performance under the stars. Music, laughter, and a gourmet feast made for the perfect closing to a day filled with memories.
NOSTALGIA 2025 wasn’t just an event; it was an emotion, an experience, a celebration of an unbreakable legacy.
