At its NOIDA campus, IIM Lucknow offers a two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), previously known as Working Managers' Programme (WMP). The PGPWE is a uniquely designed program for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals, who desire to enhance their managerial knowledge and skills through formal management education while continuing to work full time in their ongoing professions/businesses.
On successful completion of the program, the student gets an MBA degree.
The program is structured to meet the learning needs and methodologies in such a way that one can continue to work and engage in formal education simultaneously. The program maintains the high standards and rigor as in all postgraduate programs in management at IIM Lucknow. It aims at developing strong conceptual fundamentals and skills required to manage businesses of the future. The PGPWE helps to inculcate leadership amongst participants, and foster the development of change agents to take top roles in the global business arena.
After the inception of PGPWE in 2005, fourteen batches are graduated. PGPWE alumni today are serving with distinction in senior business positions across the globe and playing the influential roles in their organizations.

Time to Complete the Programme
In the normal course, the program is completed in two years. However, students who fail to meet the prescribed minimum attendance or academic standards due to extenuating circumstances may be allowed two more continuous years if the PGP-WE Committee recommends so, and can complete the Programme in a total of four years (maximum overall duration).
Student Advisory Services and Corporate Interface Events
The Student Advisory Services helps prepare candidates to meet career goals and aspirations. The advisors would guide students on the choice of electives, events, and networking opportunities. Such assistance will help participants to springboard their careers and add substantial value to the organizations where they work.

Minimum eligibility criteria for applying to PGPWE: 2024 – 26 are as below:
- Executives with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (i.e., 10+2+3), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA;
- Score of any one of the following tests:
Valid GMAT/GRE score, the score must be valid till last date of application. It is mandatory to submit Official Score card/Test Taker copy (if Official Score card is not yet received) along with the application.
You need to submit the GMAT/GRE score card along with the application form. You should also inform GMAC/ETS. Our GMAT code is J39-VT-47. and GRE Designated Institution (DI) Code is 4988.

PGPWE (WMP) is a unique MBA program designed by IIML, which gave me immense pleasure of learning, a thorough understanding of business, and a deep awakening of my managerial sense and that too without sacrificing my job. I always wanted to contribute in building value delivering consumer facing online products. However, belonging to a pure technology & software background, my perspective and scope for contribution were limited to primarily design and implementation of products. WMP course from IIM Lucknow helped me significantly in having an overall understanding of business mechanics, how to be deeply empathetic to customer needs and think of products considering various stakeholders. On completion of the course, I could successfully make a switch to online product management role and am now working with one of the fastest growing startup in US fashion industry.

The WMP at IIML-NC is a world-class management program. The Noida Campus can boast of excellent infrastructure and learned faculty. The curriculum has depth and comprehensively covers all the core streams of management. Being from the government sector, I had very limited exposure to the working of the private sector. The WMP gave me intense exposure to how businesses are run and the challenges they face. Being in a learning environment after a gap of about 18 years brought an exciting change in my routine. Balancing between home, office and WMP gave me an idea of how much more I can achieve in the limited time. The best aspect of WMP is the opportunity to interact and learn from fellow students who come from diverse backgrounds. It was indeed a memorable experience to cherish for a lifetime.
