Dr. Ajay Singh is a Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow and is also Dean of Noida Campus of IIML. He has his Master’s degree from Delhi University, and he has done M.Phil. and his Ph.D. from JNU. He was also Doctoral Fellow in Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, and a visiting scholar of Senshu University, Tokyo. Prof. Singh has about 30 years of teaching, training and consulting experience in India and abroad. He joined IIM Lucknow in 2006.
Prof. Singh has presented papers at international conferences and has published a number of research papers in national and international books and journals. He has also edited three books in the areas of HRM and Business Sustainability. He also has experience of conducting national and international consulting projects and has been conducting training programs for a number of organizations over last several years. Major areas of his teaching and training are HRM in the Changing times, International and Comparative HRM; Cross-cultural issues in Management; Talent Management; Performance Management, and Leadership. He believes in action research, and use of learning-by-doing methods for his teaching & training.
