Legal environment constitutes an important aspect of domestic and international business and therefore forms an indispensable part of the management curriculum. At IIM Lucknow, the Legal Management Group was created in1999 following the appointment of a full time law faculty. It aims at carrying out advanced research and providing courses of highest quality in the field of Business Law, Corporate Law and Environmental Law. The Group will strive to use its expertise to offer new elective courses to PGP and FPM students and MDPs for Business executives and policy makers in the emerging areas like Legal Aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property, Environmental Law and Consumer Protection Law etc. |
