Process Guidelines

Slotting

5To facilitate the large number of recruiters interested in hiring from our campus and for operational ease, the recruitment processes of the companies are not scheduled on the same day, but held over the placement week in slots. It is attempted to communicate the slots well in advance to the organisation, ideally 3 weeks before their scheduled visit to campus for recruitment.

The duration of the selection process allowed to an organisation, termed the slot, is indicated to the recruiting organisation in the invitation for Placements.

Pre-Placement Talks

Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs) provide an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain deeper knowledge about the prospective employers. It allows an organisation to take a first-hand look at the institute and the existing talent pool. The representatives get a chance to spend some quality time with the students and the faculty.
