Conference 2012 – The successful execution of the international conference with participation from 26 countries academia and practitioners has already laid the foundation for the centre. It is commendable that of the 174 papers presented in the seminar 40 quality papers were published as 5 special issues and 3 regular issues of internationally acclaimed referred journals.
Conference 2014 - At the 2014 Annual Conference of the Emerging Markets Conference Board, a total of 425 paper abstracts were submitted by several hundreds of authors from across the globe. Based on the outcome of a double blind review process by an international panel of reviewers, 200 papers were finally accepted for presentation in the conference. In addition, a total of 18 papers were accepted for mini paper presentations. 44 of these papers were from outside India, truly reflecting the reach of the international nature of the Conference.
Pre-Conference Workshop - A pre-conference workshop with focus on Ethnography and Metaphor Analysis was also conducted on January 8 & 9, 2014. More than 80 participants, including international participants, attended the Workshop.
